Ferrari Vision Elettrica Reimagines the EV Grand Tourer Formula with a Four-Door Twist

14Views

Ferrari spent the final days of May introducing Luce, the company’s first electric vehicle. The name translates to “light” in Italian, yet the reaction surrounding the debut was anything but bright. Following the presentation, criticism spread quickly, and the newcomer soon became the center of countless online jokes. Some digital creators treated the car as a blank canvas, reshaping its proportions, changing its styling, or turning it into entirely different vehicles.

Among those following the discussion was Uygar, a Turkey-based digital artist known online as “uygarspots.” Rather than joining the meme wave, the self-described “professional daydreamer” went in another direction. His answer to the Luce debate arrived in the form of Ferrari Vision Elettrica, an unofficial design study built around the idea of an electric Ferrari grand tourer sedan.

The concept stays within the four-door format, though the overall shape differs from Ferrari’s production EV. Traditional proportions define the project. Up front, the body sits low to the ground, while pronounced wheel arches extend outward and add visual mass to the fenders. A narrow nose stretches between large bumper intakes, and a slim LED strip handles daytime running light duties. The main headlamps almost disappear into the design. You need a closer look before noticing them.

Black aerodynamic elements contrast sharply with the crimson bodywork. The front section incorporates a splitter fitted with integrated winglets, while the sides receive sculpted door sills. Toward the rear, the body kit grows more dramatic through a bumper assembly built around a layered three-dimensional diffuser.

The profile follows a fastback sedan layout. A rising shoulder line runs across the body, helping reinforce the broad fenders and muscular stance. At the back, a second ultra-thin LED strip serves as the taillight signature. The treatment is restrained. Maybe surprisingly restrained for a Ferrari-themed concept.

No technical information accompanies the rendering project. Uygar focused entirely on design. Still, the discussion naturally circles back to Luce. Ferrari’s production EV uses a dedicated architecture developed as the company’s first electric model. Engineering stayed in-house, while the exterior, interior, and interface emerged from LoveFrom, the design collective led by Sir Jony Ive. The car employs four independent electric motors generating a combined 1,035 horsepower.

Luce also introduced a four-door layout with coach rear doors similar to those found on the Ferrari Purosangue. Five seats are included, and U.S. arrivals are expected next spring at around $640k. Range stands at 330 miles.

Vision Elettrica changes none of those numbers. It simply presents a different visual interpretation of what an electric Ferrari sedan might look like.
