Chevrolet has expanded its online configurator with the new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport, offering an early look at how buyers will be able to personalize the latest addition to the C8 family. The model sits between the Stingray and the Grand Sport X, which takes over the role previously held by the E-Ray. Chevrolet appears to be giving the Grand Sport access to several styling features unavailable on a standard Stingray, helping distinguish the car within the broader Corvette lineup.
Pricing begins at $88,495, although Chevrolet has not yet disclosed the cost of the individual options shown in the configurator. What is already visible is the wide range of appearance and performance-related upgrades. According to the updated tool, a Grand Sport can be specified with aerodynamic components similar to those fitted to the Z06. Buyers selecting the Carbon Flash carbon fiber aero package receive a revised front splitter, canards, and a large rear wing.
The configurator also shows compatibility between this aero package and either the T52 Track Performance Package or the Z52 Sport Performance Package. Depending on the chosen equipment, the visual result moves surprisingly close to Z06 territory. Chevrolet’s online tool contains enough available combinations to create a Grand Sport with a dramatically different personality from the base specification.
One detail stands out among the available options. The standard Grand Sport continues to use the same corner-mounted exhaust arrangement found on the Stingray. Those looking for the Z06-style quad center exhaust layout will need to go beyond the standard configuration. The center-mounted setup comes with the T52 Track Performance Package, while buyers selecting the Sport package have the opportunity to add the central exhaust system separately.
A sample build highlighted through the configurator wears Admiral Blue Metallic paint and includes the 3LT package. The specification also features the available transparent roof panel. Chevrolet pairs this example with 10-spoke Pearl Nickel forged aluminum wheels, although five-spoke carbon fiber wheels remain available for those preferring a different look.
Visual customization extends beyond the aero package. The Grand Sport’s traditional hash marks return for the C8 generation, although their location has changed. Instead of appearing on the front quarter panels, the graphics now sit farther back on the body. Chevrolet offers them in carbon finishes as well as red, black/silver, and yellow variants.
While detailed option pricing remains unavailable, the configurator already provides a clear picture of Chevrolet’s intentions for the Grand Sport. Buyers gain access to a broad menu of styling and performance-related upgrades, including several features associated with the Z06, while the model itself starts at $88,495.
