In case you are looking for an armored, genuine US SUV, then you should know that the 2025 Lincoln Navigator L seen here is available for sale. The best part is that it only has 81 miles on the clock and is fully bulletproof.
That outcome stands out a little more once you realize this is no ordinary luxury SUV. The long-wheelbase fifth-generation model was upgraded by Canada-based Exec Armor and fitted with the company’s CEN BR6 protection package, turning it into something far more heavy-duty than a typical family hauler.
Bidding for this SUV started well and ended not that well. The price was set between $59,000 and $63,500, when a potential customer raised it to a staggering $100,000. That came with some unfortunate consequences for the owner.
The bid missed the reserve, and the Navigator remained unsold. There was another curious detail, too: the bidder who made that six-figure leap had only just opened an account on the auction site.
From the outside, the vehicle does not immediately advertise everything that has been added to it. This Navigator L is wrapped in Infinite Black Metallic paint job, featuring LED lighting, illuminated power-deployable running boards, a 360-degree camera system, tinted glass, and heated power-folding mirrors.
It still looks like an upscale Navigator first. The armor is the second story, though obviously the more important one here.
Exec Armor’s CEN BR6 package covers far more than just the passenger cell. Protection extends to the body, fuel tank, battery, engine bay, roof, and doors. The vehicle also gets armored glass, reinforced hinges and straps, plus an armored bulkhead swing door mounted behind the rear tailgate. That is not a casual add-on package.
Inside, the cabin puts safety first, with armored protection integrated alongside the usual luxury equipment. Driver-assistance equipment makes sure all participants are safe when cruising at high speeds, and includes systems like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind spot detection, and pre-collision assist.
The powertrain remains substantial enough for the job. Under the hood sits a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 rated at 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission and an electric, limited-slip differential. The tuner also revised the suspension, and that part sounds necessary rather than optional, because the standard setup would not have been able to safely deal with the added mass of the armor plating.
So the SUV had the protection, the luxury, and barely any mileage. It also had one more thing: a record of struggling to find a new owner. This latest auction did not change that.
