The high-performance 2026 RAM 1500 Rebel is back in the spotlight with good news for those wanting a genuine American truck with raw power and exquisite high-tech gizmos. The US-based carmaker announced a special edition called Rebel X, which brings new exterior tweaks and high-tech goodies inside the cabin. The bad news is that it will retain the truck`s smaller 3.0-liter engine.
Exterior Details
Starting with the exterior, the couple of photos that we have highlight the new design enhancements. We are dealing here with new 18-inch wheels in 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires. The wheels are complemented by Bilstein dampers and a one-inch lift kit, coming as well with an electronic locking differential.
The truck also comes with a Rough Road Cruise control system which automatically crawls at speeds of up to 20 mph, while adjusting steering weight at the same time. It is the sort of feature that feels designed for people who actually plan to leave pavement behind.
Interior Details
Inside, the X package folds in the normally optional Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group. The cabin is fitted with a 14.5-inch infotainment screen and a secondary 10.25-inch front passenger display.
There is also a console-mounted shifter, paddle shifters, upgraded seats with red accent stitching, a glass-encased center console badge, and bedside graphics carrying the “Rebel X” script. A new military green-inspired paint finish called Tank Clear-Coat debuts here as well and will also be offered on select 2026 1500 models.
Power Info
As it has been already mentioned, the 2026 Rebel X will not come with the larger 5.7-liter Hemi V8, but the standard Rebel gets, but still, the customers will be forced to accept the smaller and more versatile 3.0-liter inline-six, twin-turbo engine, which in its standard form provides a satisfying 420 horsepower and 469 lb.ft of torque.
The Hemi V8, which is 5.7 liters in size, is much larger, and achieves 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque in standard form. But with the new e-Torque mild-hybrid system the car can have an additional 130 lb-ft of torque.
The only choice available to buyers is four-wheel drive as standard, a Crew Cab body, and a 5-foot-7-inch bed.

RAM has also confirmed the price for the Rebel X package, which sits just above the standard 2026 1500 Rebel. We are dealing here with $71,930, with a $2,0095 destination charge included.
